GMetrix is Not Compatible with Multiple Versions of Office

Please note that GMetrix is not compatible with multiple versions of Office on the same computer. If you have multiple versions of Office, this can lead to improper grading or problems with templates loading. If you have multiple versions of Office, please uninstall the one you are not using for testing (Save your product key in case you wish to re-install at a later time).

To Uninstall Office

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
  2. Select Add/Remove a program or Uninstall a program, depending on the operating system you are using.
  3. Find the version of Office that you wish to uninstall.
  4. Right click on Microsoft Office.
  5. Select Uninstall.

After any version of Office is uninstalled, you need to make sure that you do a repair of the remaining version. When there are multiple versions, they share some pieces of the software. When an uninstall happens, pieces may be taken that are needed for GMetrix to function properly.

To Repair Office

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
  2. Select Add/Remove a program or Uninstall a program, depending on the operating system you are using.
  3. Find the version of Office that you wish to repair.
  4. Right click on Microsoft Office.
  5. Select Change.
  6. Select Repair

Please note that if you are repairing Office 2013, you need to do the online repair. The Offline repair will not properly repair the software.
